Meat Sauce:



1 1/4 lb ground beef--browned and fat drained
3- 8oz cans tomato sauce
3-8oz can rinse water
1 can tomato paste
1 fresh tomato diced



Filling:



16 oz ricotta cheese
2 eggs, well beaten
10 oz frozen spinach, microwaved cooked and drained
1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
12 lasagna strips-cooked
16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Combine and cook all of the meat sauce ingredients for 1 hour and stir occasionally. Combine all of the fillings ingredients together as well. Cook the noodles until done and drain. To assemble the lasagna in a 9x12 lightly greased pan, layer the following:
A light layer of sauce to coat the bottom
then a layer of noodles slightly overlapping one another to form the base. Then spread 1/2 ricotta mix over the noodles, then 1/8 c Parmesan cheese on top , then 3 liberal ladles of meat sauce and top with a generous handful(s) of shredded mozzarella. Top with another layer of noodles.
Continue layering the ingredients until the top which should be a final layer of noodles topped with sauce the mozzarella cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven 30 minutes
