1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. milk
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Mix cream of tartar and soda in the 2 tsp. of milk.
Mix butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and milk.
Add flour. Roll out and cut circles. Put drop of
filling on cookie and fold in half. Seal edge.

Filling: 1 # dates, cut up
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. water
Boil until thick. Cool.

Bake at 350º.
