3/4 c. Shortening
1 1/4 c. packed Brown Sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. Flour
1 tsp. Salt
3/4 tsp. Baking Soda
1 c. Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°
2. Combined shortening, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat into a creamed mixture then add egg.
3. Mix flour, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl and then add into creamed mixture.
4. Stir in chocolate chips.
5. Place tablespoonfuls of dough onto greased cookie sheets and bake 8-10 minutes.
