Brownies-
2 c. Sugar
2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt

1 c. Margarine or Butter
1/4 c. Baking Cocoa
1 c. Water

1/2 c. Buttermilk (to make butter milk mix 1 tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice with 1 c. milk)
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla

Frosting-
1 square (1/2 c.) Margarine
1/4 c. Baking Cocoa
1/3 c. Buttermilk
4 c. Powder Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°
2. Mix sugar, flour, baking soda, and salt together then set aside.
3. In a saucepan boil margarine, baking cocoa, and water together. Once boiling add to flour mixture you set aside.
4. Add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla. Mix all together.
5. Pour batter into a greased sheet cake pan and bake for 20 minutes.
6. While brownies are baking beat ingredients for the frosting all together.
7. Frost brownies while they are still slightly warm.
