Two artichokes
1/4 cup olive oil (or more)
2-3 Tbsp. butter
Kosher salt & pepper.
2-3 Tbsp. fresh sage (or thyme or tarragon)

Directions:
Directions:
Boil artichokes. Cut in half. Remove choke. Spread leaves so that oils get to them. Place on a microwave pan with cut side up. Mix olive oil, butter, salt, pepper and herbs. Drizzle with olive oil mixture. Microwave for about 2 minutes. Transfer to cookie sheet with cut side down. Place in broiler for about 15 minutes (watch closely). OR ... place on barbecue for about 15 minutes.
