1 c. rice
6 c. milk
1 cube butter (I use 1/3 cube)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 almond

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients and place in either a crockpot or a heavy baking pan with a lid. Cook all night in the crockpot on low or for 3-4 hours in the oven at 250 or 300º, until thick but not yellow. Stir it once or twice while it's cooking if you're awake. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar if desired, or eat plain.

Personal Notes:
This is really my dad's recipe, but it's officially Seth's favorite food and he wanted me to include it. You'll have to ask my dad about the almond--the person who gets it wins something or other. This is one of our traditional Christmas morning foods. If you throw it in the oven when you first wake up, it will be ready by the time people are done opening presents and want to eat.
