1 fresh cabbage
40g pork lard
1 onion
2 desert spoons of vinegar
1 desert spoon of sugar
1 cooking apple
Salt, pepper
1/8 l beef stock

Directions:
Directions:
Cut and coarsely shred the cabbage. Brown the sugar in the lard, add the onions and the apple and fry gently. Spread the cabbage over the onions and apples in the pan and add salt, pepper and the stock.
Cover and simmer for about an hour. Add more stock if necessary. Finally, add vinegar to taste. A desert spoon of caraway can be added during the simmering if required.
