Simmer sugar and water 25 minutes until clear. Cool completely. Add coffee, vanilla and vodka. Put in a heavy gallon jug and place under the kitchen sink. Shake each day when you do the dishes. After 3 weeks, strain and enjoy with cream.

Personal Notes:
We used to make this with regular instant coffee, until we spent a sleepless night after drinking a couple Kahlua & Creams. The decaf does not provide the heavy coffee flavor, but it does make for better sleeping!

This recipe came from Aunt Lois along with some vanilla beans for my birthday present. Thanks Aunt Lois!
