4 eggs
2 c sugar
1/2 oz squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together eggs, sugar, butter, and chocolate. Add vanilla, flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing after each addition. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13-inch pan and bake at 350º for 25 minutes. Let cool for 45 minutes before cutting

The book says "You'll never use a mix again," and that may be true. These are as easy to make as a mix, and infinitely better. I seem to recall these brownies at the bottom of a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with Amanda Anderson's Creme de Menthe syrup- perfect!
