1 lb boneless chuck roast
1/2 pound baby peeled carrots-used for flavoring
1 large sliced onion
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup water
8 slices of sour dough bread
8 slices of American cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Wash chuck roast and place in baking pan. Add water, carrot's, sliced onion, salt and pepper. Bake for 3 hours.

Cool chuck roast completely before slicing into 3/4 inch slices.

In a large skillet spread butter lightly on sourdough bread. Layer each slice of bread with a slice of cheese. Add meat and onions. Grill Sandwich on both sides. Enjoy!
