4TSP BAKING POWDER
2 TSP SUGAR
½ TSP SALT
½ TSP CREAM OF TARTER

Directions:
MIX ALL ABOVE INGREDIENTS. CUT IN ½ C SHORTENING. MIX LIKE PIE CRUST. ADD 2/3 CUP OF MILK ALL AT ONCE.
STIR DOUGH UNTIL IT FOLLOWS AROUND THE BOWL. ROLL ½ INCH THICK. CUT OUT BISCUITS. BAKE AT 400 ON AN UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET.

The first time I made these, I left them in the oven to keep warm for Mom so when she came home from work she would have warm biscuits. Guess what they were hard as a rock and Dad gave them to the hound and he buried them. Everyone had a big laugh.
