1/2 C shortening
1/2 C white sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 C flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 C peanut butter
Hershey’s kisses, unwrapped
Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, soda, and salt. Cream together remaining ingredients; add dry ingredients except the “kisses”. Form balls, roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Put a “kiss” on top of each cookie and bake an additional 2 minutes.
