1/2 c soft butter or margarine
1/4 c powdered sugar
1 c flour

2 eggs
1 c sugar
2 T flour
2 T lemon juice (fresh is best)
Lemon zest (grated lemon rind)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add flour. Spread in 8x8 pan and bake at 325 for 15 to 20 minutes.

Mix together egg, sugar, flour, lemon juice and rind. Beat slightly, pour over crust and continue baking for 15 to 20 more minutes at 325. Cool slightly before cutting into bars.

This is also good with Lime juice and zest. You can used processed juice but it is not nearly as good.
