1 14 oz. bag caramels
1 pkg. Devil’s food cake mix
2/3 C evaporated milk
3/4 C softened butter
1 C chopped nuts
1 C chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine caramels and 1/3 C of evaporated milk, cook until caramels have melted stirring constantly; set aside. Combine cake mix, 1/3 C evaporated milk and butter. Beat with electric mixer until mixture holds together. Press ½ of cake mixture into bottom of 13x9" greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for six minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust and cover evenly with caramel mixture. Crumble remaining cake mixture on top. Bake an additional 18-20 minutes. Cool 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
