3 cups self rising flour
1 can beer
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Stir in medium bowl until mixed. Pour into a greased and floured 9 1/4" bread pan. Bake at 375º for 1 hour.

Hints: add 2 tbsp grated onion and 1 tsp dillweed or 2 tbsp Italian seasoning to batter. Baste top of loaf just after removing from oven with melted butter.

This recipe was given to me by my best friend Deb Pengully. She used to make it to bring our to the balloon field to have for brunch after balloon flights. She served it with a breakfast casserole. It is great served with an Italian dinner also.
