2 cps. raisins
1 cp. currans
1 cp. mixed peel
2 cps. candied pineapple
2 cps red cherries
2 cps green cherries
1 cp brazil nuts
1 cp pecans
6 cps. deluxe fruit

Add:

1 orange juice (minute maid)
2 cps. brown sugar
1 cp. brandy or rum
3 cps butter = 11/2 pound
12 eggs (seperated, use yolks only) set whites aside
6 cps. flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 cp molasses

Directions:
Directions:
1. Wash raisins and currans
2. Mix everything, pour rum and orange juice into mixture
3. Beat egg whites
4. Sprinkle 3 cps. flour over fruit
5. Add salt, baking powder to next 3 cps. flour.
6. Cream butter, sugar, beaten egg yolks, add extracts, beat well and add nuts.
7. Fold in egg whites.

Line pans with parchment paper (must do this, or it will burn), and spray with pam.

Bat 275º to 300º for 1 -3 hours

Makes about 7 cakes.
