1 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup molasses
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. soda
5-5 1/2 cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
Put soda in milk. Let sit for a minute. Mix sugar & shortening. Add eggs.
Add molasses and milk. Add dry ingredients. Bake at 350º.
