1 C sugar
2 sticks of butter
2 tsp. orange zest
2 C flour
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 C fresh orange juice
2 Tbsp. poppy seeds
GLAZE:
1/2 C powdered sugar
2 tsp. orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour loaf pan. On medium speed, beat together sugar, butter, vanilla and zest until a fluffy cream, add flour and blend in remaining ingredients. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Let cool in pan on a rack for 1/2 hour. Remove from pan and cool completely. In a Ziploc bag combine ½ C powdered sugar and two teaspoons orange juice. Blend well and pour glaze over cake.
