Mel’s Cole Slaw

8 cups finely shredded cabbage (1 Large Head)
¼ cup finely shredded carrots
½ cup sugar
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1/3 cup milk
¾ cup mayo
1/3 cup buttermilk
2 tbsps white vinegar
3 tbsps Lemon Juice


Chop carrots and cabbage into small pieces, about the size of a rice kernel. Put to the side.


Mix the rest of the ingredients and blend until creamy. Fold into cabbage and carrot mixture and chill for at least 2 hours. Enjoy
