5 tablespoon flour
1/4 cup corn meal
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 easpoon pepper
4 pork cube steaks
1 egg white
1 teaspoon water
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
2 tablespoons cooking oil ( divided )
Your favorite gravy mix....mine is country style gravy by Knorr

Combine 3 tablespoons flour, cornmeal,salt, pepper, garlic salt; set aside. Coat steaks with remaining flour.. Beat egg white and water; dip steaks, then dredge in cornmeal mixture. In skillet cook over medium high heat, 2 steaks at a time for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until lightly browned. Remove steaks and keep warm and repeat for the remaining 2 steaks. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes while you prepare the gravy.

This became a favorite dinner for my family and for me when I discovered how cheap cube steaks are. One of Rock's and Andy's all time favorite meals.
