1 1/2 C. butter, softened
2 C. brown sugar
1 C. sugar
1 can (15 oz.) canned pumpkin
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
4 C. flour
2 C. quick cooking oats
2 t. baking soda
2 t. ground cinnamon
1 t. nutmeg
2 C. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in the pumpkin, egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
