8-1/2 oz pkg. chocolate wafers, crushed (about 2 cups)
1/3 cup butter, melted
¼ cup sugar
3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
4-oz. sweet cooking chocolate, melted and cooled
3 eggs
2 tablespoons half and half (milk works fine as well)
2 tsp. vanilla

Crust:
In small bowl, combine: 8-1/2 oz pkg. chocolate wafers, crushed (about 2 cups)
1/3 cup butter, melted
¼ cup sugar
Mix well. Press mixture evenly over bottom and 2 inches up sides of ungreased 9-inch springform pan.

Filling:
In large bowl, blend: 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
(until light and 1 cup sugar
Fluffy) 3 tablespoons flour
4-oz. sweet cooking chocolate, melted and cooled

Add: 3 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Blend in: 2 tablespoons half and half (milk works fine as well)
2 tsp. vanilla

Pour into crust.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees; continue baking until filling is set. Remove from oven; cool 10 minutes. Carefully loosen crust from sides of pan by running knife between sides and crust.

Topping:
In small bowl, combine ½ cup sour cream and ½ tsp vanilla. Mix until smooth. Spread over slightly cooled cheese cake. Cool completely; refrigerate until serving time. Remove sides of pan and garnish as desired (i.e. with chocolate chips).
