1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
4 1/2 t baking powder
1 1/2 t. salt
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1 (12oz.) bottle beer
3 T butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F. Lightly grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine flours, baking powder, salt and brown suger. Pour in beer, stir until a stiff batter is formed. Scrape dough into prepared loaf pan. Pour melted butter over top of dough. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
