5 cup flour,
3/4 cup shortening,
3 Tbsp. sugar,
1 tsp. soda,
1 tsp. salt,
3 tsp. baking powder,
1 pkg yeast dissolve in 1/2 cup warm water,
2 cup buttermilk.

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk and yeast mixture. Mix till all flour is moistened. Store in refrigerator up to 1 month.

To bake - pinch off small size roll with floured hands. Roll around in palms until smooth and round. Put in greased pan - let rise at least 15 min. Bake 350º till golden brown. butter tops when they come out of oven.

When making out into rolls remember they will double in size.
