2 c shortening
2 c peanut butter
2 c graduated white sugar
2 c packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
preheat oven 375

1. Cream shortening, peanut butter, sugars and eggs until light and fluffy.
2. At all dry ingredients making sure all ingredients are mixed well.
3. Roll into an inch ball and place on cookie sheet leaving an inch between balls. Using a fork, press the cookie ball flat to about 1/4 inch. Bake until slightly brown but firm to touch.
