1 cup plus more brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter
2 eggs
2½ cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp.baking flour
1 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
2 cup apples, diced (Mom likes Macintosh)
1 tsp .vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
Handful of walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars and margarine. Add eggs. Mix dry ingredients and add alternatively with milk. Add apples and vanilla. Pour batter in a 9x13 pan and sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, and walnuts (about 10 halves, which have been crushed). Bake 50 minutes at 350º.
