1 pkg. (8 oz.) lasagna noodles
3# or 3 c. diced cooked chicken
1-1/2 c. cottage cheese
1/2# grated American cheese
1-1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Sauce:
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 T. melted butter
1/4-1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/3 c. milk
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms
1 can cream chicken or mushroom soup
1/2 T. basil (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken. Use broth to cook noodles. Drain noodles. Layer chicken, noodles and cheese in 9 x 13 pan. Sauté onions in melted butter, add green peppers and simmer until tender. Add soup, milk, mushrooms, pimentos and basil. Pour over layered ingredients and bake in 350 - 45 minutes. Freezes well.
