Yellow cake mix (prefer Pillsbury)
1 stick of butter (melted)
1 1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 can of crushed pineapple (drained)
Directions:
Directions:
Start by pouring the melted butter into a 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle pineapple evenly over the butter. Top with brown sugar until a good amount is all over the pineapple. Mix yellow cake mix according to instructions on the box in a large mixing bowl. Pour cake batter on top of pineapple mixture. Bake according to cake box instructions (may take just a few minutes longer).

This Bobby's absolute favorite dessert - requested for birthday's and celebrations. Memow always told me Pawpaw LOVED pineapple upside down cakes too. She said she did the whole pineapple slice with a cherry in the middle.
