Lemon Bars Recipe

1 cup flour
cup soft butter
cup confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
teaspoon baking powder
teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated lemon rind

Lemon Glaze
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 tablespoon butter

Blend flour, butter, confectioners sugar. Press in 8 inch pan. Bake 350 degrees, 25 minutes. Beat remaining ingredients together till light. Pour over hot crust. Bake another 25 minutes. Cool, frost.

Lemon Glaze:
Combine and beat lemon juice, confectioners sugar, butter. Spread over baked bars and cut into squares.
