1/2 to 1 lb ground beef
3/4 lb bacon, cut into pieces
1 cup chopped onion
2 cans (15 oz size) pork and beans (I prefer Bush's Original)
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can butter limas, drained
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp liquid smoke
3 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp salt
dash of pepper

Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain off fat and put beef in a crockpot. Brown bacon and onions and drain fat. Add bacon, onions and remaining ingredients to the crockpot. Stir together well. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 9 hours.
