1-3oz. pkg cream cheese
1/2 c. butter softened
1 c. flour
3/4 c. light brown sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 to 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Knead cream cheese, 1/2 c.butter and flour into soft balls and chill for one hour. Break into 24 one-inch balls and place into tin tin tassie pans and press into bottom and up side, like a pie crust.
FILLING;
Mix brown sugar, 3 tbsp. melted butter, egg, vanilla and chopped pecans. Fill pie shells 3/4 full of whipped filling and then add 1 tsp. pecans. Bake at 325º for 9-11 minutes. Can freeze for up to one year.
