1 lb. large white beans
6 c. chicken broth
2 md. chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 T. oil
2 4oz. cans chopped green chilies
2 t. ground cumin
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
1/4 t. ground cloves
1 1/2 t. oregano
4 c. diced, cooked chicken breast
3 c. grated Monterey Jack Cheese
sour cream
salsa

Directions:
Directions:
Combine beans, broth, garlic and half of the onions in a large soup pan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, simmer until beans are soft, adding more broth if necessary.
In a skillet, saute remaining onions in oil until tender. Add chilies and seasonings, mix thoroughly. Add to the bean mixture, add chicken and simmer for 1 hr.
Serve topped with grated cheese, salsa and sour cream.
