1 c. raw peanuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/8 t. salt


1 t. butter or margarine
1 t. vanilla

1 t. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cook peanuts, sugar, corn syrup, and salt in the microwave on high for 4 minutes; stir. Continue cooking on high 3 minutes. Add the margarine and vanilla. Cook 1-2 minutes on high. Add baking soda. Stir (mixture will foam up). Pour on buttered cookie sheet; cool. When cooled, break into desired sized pieces.

This is a very easy, delicious peanut brittle. This is the only recipe that I ever saw my dad cook.
