Ingredients: Crust: 1 1/2 cups flour 1/3 cup powdered sugar 3/4 cup butter or margarine
Filling: 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 tbsp cornstarch 1 tbsp brown sugar 1 can (16 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
Topping: 1/3 cup flour 2 tbsp brown sugar 1/4 cup butter or margarine 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts

Directions:In a small bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar; cut in the butter until crumbly. Press into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are lightly brown. Remove from oven and set aside and reduce oven heat to 325º.
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add milk and lemon juice; mix well. Pour over crust. In a bowl, combine the cornstarch and brown sugar. Stir in the cranberry sauce until combined. Spoon over the cream cheese layer.
For topping, combine the flour and brown sugar in a bowl and cut in butter. Fold in the walnuts and sprinkle over filling.
Bake at 325º for 40-45 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
Cover and chill for 3 hours before cutting. |
