2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/2 cup water
1 bay leaf
10 oz package chopped frozen broccoli
2 tbsp onion
2 tbsp margarine
3 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 cups milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

In medium saucepan, dissolve bouillon cubes in water. Add bay leaf and bring to a boil. Add broccoli and cook as directed. Do not drain.

In large saucepan, saute onion in margarine until tender. Add flour, salt and pepper until blended. Add in milk and cook until thickened stirring constantly.

Add cheese and broccoli mixture to large saucepan and stir.

Remove bay leaf and serve.
