2-8 oz. cans crescent roll dough
2-8 oz. packages cream cheese
1-1/2 c. sugar, divided
1 large egg, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Spread one can crescent roll dough in a 9x13 pan, pressing perforations together to seal. Combine cream cheese, 1 c. sugar, egg yolk and vanilla and spread on top of rolls. Place second can of dough on top of cheese mixture. Beat egg white and brush on top. Mix remaining sugar and nuts together and sprinkle on top. Bake 350 for 30 minutes.
