You need: 3 bowls, 13x9 buttered pan
Preheat oven to 375.

1 pkg. (19 oz.) yellow cake mix
1/2 c. melted butter
1 egg
1 can (1#14oz.) pumpkin (this recipe is for the pumpkin with the spices already added, if you buy the solid pack pumpkin make sure to add the spices on the can, plus the sugar)
2 eggs
2/3 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter
Whipped topping or ice cream, optional

Reserve 1 c. cake mix for topping. In bowl combine remaining cake mix, 1/2 c. melted butter and 1 egg. Press into bottom of pan. In another bowl, combine pumpkin pie mix, 2 eggs, pumpkin pie spice and milk. Mix until smooth. Pour over crust. In another bowl combine reserved cake mix, sugar and cinnamon; cut in remaining 1/4 c. butter. Sprinkle over pumpkin mixture. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center
comes out clean. Serve with whipped topping or ice cream, if desired.
