4 squares (1 oz. ea.) unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. unsalted butter
1-1/4 c. plus 1 T. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 large eggs
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. plus 2 T. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325. Lightly grease 8" square pan. Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Cool 5 minutes. Put sugar and chocolate mixture in bowl and beat until well blended. Add vanilla. With mixer on medium speed, add eggs one at a time beating after each until well blended. Beat in flour and 1/2 c. nuts. Spread batter in pan and sprinkle remaining nuts on top. Bake 35 minutes or until thin crust forms and top.
