1 pound almond paste
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 T. flour
Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl.
Gradually add 2T. flour
Press smooth in a bowl

For Dough:
4 cups flour
1 pound of butter
1 c. cold water

Roll out dough on a floured surface into a 4” wide rectangle and as long as a cookie sheet. Place almond filling in center of dough and wrap up. Tuck ends up in too.

Spread egg white on top of rolled dough.

Sprinkle with sugar.

Prick with fork.

Bake at 450 for 10 minutes then 400 for 15 minutes.
