1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar

Cream Crisco and sugar add
1 egg
1-3/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 tsp. soda
1 c. dates or raisins and nuts.
Directions:

Add soup alternately with flour mixture. Bake 350 25 minutes.
