1/2 cup butter
1 bag mint flavored chocolate chips
2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 drop green food coloring
2 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter

Directions:

Lightly grease 9 inch square pan.

In 2 quart saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter and 1/4 cup chips, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in cookie crumbs; press evenly in pan. Refrigerate until firm, about 10 minutes.

Meanwhie, in small bowl, beat 1/4 cup butter, milk, peppermint extract, vanilla and food coloring until well mixed. Gradually best in powdered sugar until smooth.

Spread peppermit mixture evenly over crumb mixture.

In saucepan, melt remaining chips and 1/3 cup butter, stirring constantly; spread evenly over peppermint mixture. Refrigerate until chocolate is set; 10-15 minutes.

Cut into 5 rows by 5 rows.
