1 head lettuce
1 c. celery
1 10oz pkg frozen peas, uncooked
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1 sweet onion, diced
8 slices bacon, fried and diced
2 c. salad dressing
2 Tbs. sugar
4 oz cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Tear the cleaned, crisp lettuce into small bite-size pieces and place in a 9x13" glass dish. Layer the rest of the ingredients in order given. Add the sugar to the salad dressing and spread over the top as you would frosting. Top with the grated cheese, cover and refrigerate for 8-12 hours. At serving time, garnish with additional bacon and parsley.
