3 cups chokecherry juice
4 1/2 cups sugar
Juice of 1 lemon or 2 tbsp lemon juice
1 box Sure-jell

Directions:
Directions:
Grind chokecherries. Pour boiling water over berries and let stand overnight. Next day, drain juice off berries, by draining through cheesecloth.

Using the cooked jelly recipe on the Sure-jell box, prepare the jelly recipe including the juice. After the mixture reaches a rolling boil, add the sugar and boil for one additional minute.

Pour into jars and seal with lids.
