1 cup sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) soften, unsalted butter
2 eggs, unbeaten
3 to 4 very ripe bananas
Juice of 1/2 lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
2 cups sifted all purpose flour
3 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the sugar and butter. Add the eggs and beat until blended. Add the lemon juice and bananas. Beat until smooth. Sift flour with baking powder and add to the mix quickly. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake in greased 9X5X3 inch loaf pan at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Bread is done when it is brown on top and when a toothpick inserted into the middle of the bread comes out clean. Cool on rack.
