2 onions, chopped
2-3 carrots, sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. basil
3 tbsp. parsley
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 (2 1/2 lb.) whole fryer
4 c. water
1 c. noodles
1/4 tsp. thyme

Place all ingredients in crock pot except noodles in order listed. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours. One hour before serving, remove chicken and cool slightly. Remove meat from bones and return meat ro crock pot. Add noodles. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour.
