1 c granulated sugar
1/2 c light corn syrup
1/8 t salt
1 c raw peanuts
1 t butter
1 t vanilla
1 t baking soda

Directions:

Mix together in 1-1/2 quart glass dish:
1 c granulated sugar
1/2 c light corn syrup
1/8 t salt

Add and microwave at 80% power for 4 minutes:
1 c raw peanuts

Stir and microwave at 80% power for 4 more minutes.

Add and microwave at 80% power for 1 minute:
1 t butter
1 t vanilla

Add and stir in quickly:
1 t baking soda

Immediately pour onto a lightly buttered cookie sheet. When cool, break into pieces.

This recipe is for a 1000 watt microwave. The original recipe was written for a 700 watt microwave and everything was cooked on high power.
