1 cup sifted flour
3/4 cup oatmeal (uncooked)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 cups diced rhubarb
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon until crumbly. Put 1/2 of mixture into a 9 inch baking pan. Cover with diced rhubarb. Combine sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla. Cook until thick and clear. Pour over rhubarb and top with remaining crumbs mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Cut in squares and serve warm plain or with whipped cream.
