1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup dry regular rice
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup chopped celery
1 can cream of celery soup (do not dilute)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and drain any fat. Mix all ingredients together. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour. Remove from oven, stir. If dry, add more liquid. Top with crushed potato chips, bread crumbs or crushed corn flakes. Bake uncovered about 20 minutes. You may use onion if you wish. Also, if you have chicken broth you can use that instead of water.

This recipe comes from two of my sisters-in-law, Phyllis Oakland and Thora Reisetter. I make this frequently when my family comes to dinner. It is easy and everyone likes it.
