1/2 c. butter;
1 onion, chopped;
1 carrot, sliced;
16 oz. chopped (frozen or fresh) broccoli;
4 cans chickenbroth;
1 lb. cheese (Velveta recommended), cubed;
2 c. milk;
1 tbsp. garlic power or fresh minced garlic;
2/3 c. cornstarch
1 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter and cook chopped onions in it. Stir in broccoli and cover with chicken broth. Simmer until broccoli is tender.
2. Reduce heat and stir in cheese cubes; cook until they are melted. Add milk and garlic.
3. in a small bowl, stir cornstarch into water until dissolved. Stir mixture into soup; cook, stir frequently until soup is thick.
4. Serve in a bowl with bread.
