1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
3 well beaten eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
2 cups candied cherries
2 cups glazed pineapple
2 cups raisins
2 cups dates
7 cups pecans and walnuts mixed

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add well beaten eggs. Mix soda, cinnamon and flour, adding to mixture alternately with milk. Cut fruit into medium sized pieces and add by hand. Add nuts by hand. Drop onto greased pan and bake in slow oven (300º) from 20 to 30 minutes.

Nell used 1 quart of pecan and 1 quart of walnuts when doubling recipe. She also used mixed fruit.
